The digestive system takes in the food and digested it both mechanically and chemically providing the body with nutrients and gets raid of undigested foods through excretion. The system stretches the oral cavity to the anus, and there are other hormones and enzymes helping the system along.

The intestine tube is made of layers with absorbing folds on the inside walls. The inner wall are lines with he mucous and the sub mucous. Outside of those lines are longitudinal and circular muscle coats that squeezes the bolus through to the colon.
